Pecan Pie

3 eggs

1 c corn syrup
1 c sugar
2 TB melted butter
1 tsp vanilla
6 oz pecan halves
Chocolate Chips

1. Heat oven to 350
2. Prepare single pie crust
3. Sprinkle bottom of crust with chocolate pieces
4. In a small bowl, beat eggs slightly, then stir in corn syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla
5. Add pecans
6. Pour in crust
7. Cover edge with foil
8. Bake 30 minutes
9. Remove foil, bake another 30-40 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean
10. Cover and chill
